More about what makes us tick….

Our experience in rallying extends over 20 years and during this time we have achieved multiple WA State Championship titles.  We have built several rally cars from standard production vehicles using weight saving techniques to deliver the lightest car in permitted under the rules.  We have drawn on our collective experience in off road motor sport racing and ownership of a 4×4 Canter RV and a USA based Winnebago in our quest to build the pure off road RV.

Our 4×4 Canter RV experience extends over the WA, NT and Tasmania. The travels have included the Great Central Road, the Gibb River Road with the bone shaking corrugations to Mitchell Falls.  This vehicle has been extensively modified structurally and internally refitted since it’s purchase in 2005.

Our USA based 33 foot Winnebago is a luxury fit out vehicle used for yearly travel across the USA.  Recent trips to the USA has provided valuable information on RV products available and the standard of finish expected in today’s modern motor homes.

The Team

An electrical engineer by profession, Roger seems to be able to do everything….carpentry, welding, mechanical etc.  Roger has shared Alex’s passion for off road motor sports for the past 20 years and is able to turn any idea / potential modification into a reality.  Having already heavily modifying the family’s existing RV canter, the project of a new and improved all-terrain RV was inevitable.

With 20 years of rallying experience and x3 WA state championship titles under his belt, Alex is all about reliable off road performance.  He is a self confessed ‘carbon loving weight weenie’ and shares Roger’s passion for modifications and keenness to try ‘new to market products’.   Having found the ‘ultimate’ all-terrain vehicle,  Alex has spent countless hours researching composite products in order to move away from heavier traditional RV building materials without compromising strength.

At a youthful 67 years of age and all of 5 foot nothing, Sandy is a nature lover who looks forward to making the annual pilgrimage into the outback during the wild flower season.   Sandy has clocked up as many K’s as anyone driving on 4WD tracks and often gets a double look….is that really a grandma driving that thing!!!!
Aside from enjoying the outdoors, Sandy’s interest in art and sewing has been the inspiration behind the interior decor.

Bronwyn loves nothing better than being off the beaten track in the middle of nowhere – so that means campground are to be avoided at all cost!!!.   With a background in Banking, Bronwyn has naturally fallen into the ‘financier’ role of the business but is often caught out bending the budget to ensure that the RV isn’t without ‘at home’ luxuries.
